I’ve been dancing at Shall We Dance for almost 25 years. The studio has brought me incredible joy, and has given me an so many amazing memories which I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world. I love the people inside and outside the studio. I get very emotional when I think about dancing, because it’s not only healthy for the body and mind, but has also given me friendships to last a lifetime, and for that I am so grateful.

I’ve been a student at Shall We Dance for almost four years. I have lived in town for 27 years and, up until October 27th of 2011, I would drive by Shall We Dance, look in the windows and think, “I really want to do this!” I got the courage two days later to inquire what it was all about, and met Nelson and Ingrid. I had an intro lesson and never looked back. Dancing changed my life forever. I call the studio ‘magic’. I never knew how wonderful it was until I started ballroom dancing. It’s great exercise, makes you smile and, best of all, makes you feel so good about yourself.

Dancing has changed my life and I’m so grateful to have an amazing studio like Shall We Dance right in my hometown. The instructors are fantastic and great at making you feel comfortable while learning a dance, but still having fun and gaining technique.
It’s true that dancing is good for the soul and I have to thank Shall We Dance for giving me the opportunity to learn that firsthand. When I’m dancing, that’s literally all I think about – dancing. It’s refreshing and motivating. Everyone should try ballroom and Latin dancing at least once. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
